Abstract
This research concern with the discussion of translation from English text into Indonesia language. The problem of this research is "How is achievement of the second year students of SMA Negeri 14 Medan in translating English text into Indonesia language ? The objective of this research is to know the achievement of the sudents in translating English text into Indonesia language. Therefore this study is carried out to know the students' ability in translation. The data are collected by using test of translation. The
method are used in this research are library and descriptive, methods. To get the data, the second year students of SMA Negeri 14 Medan were treated as respondents. The respondents consisted of 125 students. However, for the sample of the research was taken 40 students by using random sampling.
